With the recent success of Beauty and the Beast, Disney has announced that there will be a live action Aladdin. It is set to be released on May 24, 2019. Aladdin is going to be directed by Guy Ritchie and will be written by John August. The best part though, is the cast. Who will be playing the smart and handsome street rat Aladdin? I'm glad you asked, Aladdin will be played by a newcomer Mena Massoud, the beautiful princess Jasmine will be played by Naomi Scott and Genie will be played by Will Smith. The rest of the cast includes Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad and Billy Magnussen. Can't wait for this movie to hit theaters.
