Just recently I had the pleasure of seeing the new Christopher Robin movie starring Ewan McGregor as a grown-up Christopher Robin. The story follows Christopher's life as he gets older and has to leave Winnie the Pooh and the others behind to grow up. As Christopher gets a family and buries himself in his work, Pooh shows up and tells him that the rest of his friends have disappeared and he needs him to come to the One Hundred Acre Woods to find them.
This movie is very similar to Hook starring Robin Williams where the hero grows up and leaves his childhood behind, but must return when a long lost friend urges him to return and help the ones they have left behind.
The movie was absolutely amazing and heart-filled and great for the whole family. It is completely clean, but younger views would probably find it boring. In the end it makes you realize how important family is and how little work benefits you. I completely recommend you seeing it because it will bring you back to your childhood as it did me.
