Downtown Disney Hotel Cancelled

This hotel was revealed by Disney in about mid 2017 to expand their limited amount of hotels, but recently this 700 room hotel was cancelled. Disney just had a 20-year tax break, which was a total of $267 million, causing the location to move about 1,000 feet south. Then the attorneys state that the hotel would not qualify for Disney's subsidy with it only being moved 1,000 feet, so Disney decided it was best to shelve the project, but that doesn't mean they won't come back to the idea in years to come.
