Treats That Will Make You Scream

Ice cream isn't the only thing to scream about this holiday season. As I promised in last Friday's post, this is all the desserts that you must eat this Halloween and Fall season. There is going to be a lot on this page, just warning you in advance.

Beginning at Disney's California Adventure in Schmoozies is the Caramel Apple Smoothie. Before every saying what's in this smoothie, just look at it. Doesn't it look delicious? Just like it says, the smoothie is caramel apple flavored drizzled with caramel sauce to give it that Halloween look.

Heading over to Disneyland at the Jolly Holiday is the new Spiced Bundt Cake. This cinnamon spiced cake has an apple center drizzled with a beautiful orange glaze of the top and black and orange sprinkles topped with neon green frosting to give it a pumpkin look to it. Everyone who has tried this has immediately fallen in love with it, so get yourself one the next time you go.

The Mickey Mummy can be found also at the Jolly Holiday is Disneyland. This treat is a white chocolate macaron shaped like the famous mouse we all know and love with cookies and cream filling inside.

Another Pumpkin flavored dessert that is to die for is the Pumpkin Bread Pudding which can be found at the Pacific Wharf Cafe is Disney's California Adventure. Yes, this is pumpkin flavored bread with sweet sauce running down the sides, topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin seeds. This dessert is so amazingly awesome, that it sells out everyday, so make sure to get this first thing or you might not get any.

At the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom is the Mickey Shaped Cinnamon Roll. This breakfast meal turned dessert is drizzled with orange frosting with a chocolate spiderweb on top. Better get this soon because it disappears at the end of this month.

The Zero Waffle Sundae is definitely one of the cutest desserts out there. The Zero treat has vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, caramel drizzle, and even comes with two waffles with Zero's picture in the center.

The Maleficent Dessert is a scream. Lime soft-serve hits the spot on a hot Florida day, especially with purple sprinkles, signature chocolate horns, all in a black waffle cone. So head on over to Storybook Treats in the Magic Kingdom.

And no one can forget about Disney's famous caramel apples. In Disneyland they are located at Pooh's Corner in Critter Country and in Disney World they are located in all of the parks. Make sure to grab yourself the Mickey-shaped pumpkin, the Minnie witch, or the Jack Skellington caramel apple.

Personally candy corn is one of my favorite things about Halloween, so I am happy to announce that Disney World has a Candy Corn Milkshake at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies in the Magic Kingdom. The milkshake itself is candy corn flavored with candy corn cotton candy and an orange Mickey-shaped Marshmallow that is on the straw.

The Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake(first picture) is inspired by the movie that put Walt on the map, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The cupcake is spiced apple flavored topped with pecan crunch and buttercream icing. The Mickey Pumpkin Cupcake (second picture) may have a simple vanilla base, but it has an exquisite decoration on top all made of delicious icing. You can find these and other cupcakes at the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom. The Sleepy Hollow Cupcake (third picture) is red velvet topped with vanilla icing, raspberry sauce, and a white chocolate headless horseman decoration. You can get this cupcake at Disneyland's California Adventure in Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street.

At Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in the Magic Kingdom is the famous Dirt and Worms dessert. The worms themselves are gummy candies and in the dirt is chocolate pudding with mashed up oreos and a chocolate headstone to complete the look.

Something that you might not know about me is that cheesecake is my favorite dessert in the whole world, so I am so happy to announce Vanilla Pecan Cheesecake has made an appearance a the Magic Kingdom's Main Street Bakery. This cheesecake is made of vanilla pecan cake drizzled with caramel with a Mickey pumpkin on top.

These Pumpkin Marshmallow Wands are returning from last year and boy are they good. They are covered in white chocolate carefully sprinkled in orange sprinkles with chocolate decorations to make the pumpkins' faces.

This Spider Parfait is a chocolate fans dream come true. It is no ordinary parfait, this has chocolate cake, on top of orange vanilla pudding, on top of chocolate pudding, topped with a spider web ganache and a spider gummy. Pick this treat up at the Galactic Grill or at the Alien Pizza Planet where it is called the Alien Spider Parfait in Disneyland.

Over in Disneyland at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, Apple Pie a La Mode is making an appearance. This treat is a cross between apple pie and an apple sundae. A fresh piece of apple pie served with vanilla ice cream, warm sliced apples, a little bit of caramel sauce, and a crumble topping.

Filled with blueberry reserves and cookie crumbles, topped with orange whipped cream ears, black sugar face features, and mint leaves to give it the pumpkin leaves, that's the Mickey Pound Cake. You can find it over at the Disneyland Plaza Inn Restaurant on Main Street.

In California Adventure at Flo's V8 Cafe is the Candy Cone Pie. This a cream based pie with vanilla, butterscotch, and white chocolate pudding all topped with a candy corn.

The Black Rose dessert can, yes, be bought at the Black Rose Taverne in Disneyland's Fantasyland. This dessert is black truffle mousse with a raspberry reserv, crunchy center

Celebrating another holiday, the Day of the Dead, the Skull Pot de Creme is inspired by it. This chocolate custard is decorated with a beautifully decorated orange sugar mask. You can get this dessert in Disneyland at the Plaza Inn.

Another mouth watering treat inspired by spiders is over at Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in California Adventure. This dessert is a little different than your ordinary ice cream sandwich with black macarons decorated with white icing spider webs. In the center is "charcoal-tart" cherry ice cream, pop rocks, and raspberry sauce that will defiantly hit that sweet spot.

The last treat that has arrived in the parks is over in Carsland in California Adventure at Flo's V8 Cafe. If you are a huge fan of Pumpkins, then the Pumpkin Spice Shake is the perfect fall drink for you. This pumpkin flavored drink has caramel drizzled inside and on top, not only that but it also comes with graham crackers and whipped cream. If you want to pay a little extra, you can but the cute pumpkin decoration above that is made from an actual tire, which is so cool if you ask me.

That may be all the snack, desserts and drinks out right now, but a few that are returning you can find here. I hope these sweets make you want to go to Disney that much more for this holiday season.
